Information we collect

When you complete a form on this site we collect the information you enter: your name, ZIP code, home address, phone number, optional email address, and your answers about your project. If you start one of our forms and enter contact details but don't finish, we may save what you entered. We also record standard web data such as the pages you visit, your referring source, campaign parameters, and general device information.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare your estimate, to contact you about your project, and to measure how our pages perform. We do not sell your information.

Communications

If you check the consent box on a form, Renmark may contact you by phone, text message, or email about your project. Calls and messages are placed manually by a person. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, or ask us on a call to stop contacting you.

Data sharing

We share your information with service providers who help us operate this site and follow up on requests, and with the contractor or team who will perform the work you asked about. We may disclose information where required by law.

You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact details above.

Cookies, pixels and analytics

We (Renmark, ROC 364596) use cookies and similar technologies on renmarkhomeguide.com to measure how our pages and ads perform and to show relevant ads to people who visited this site.

• Meta Pixel: a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) tag records page views and actions on this site (for example, viewing a guide, starting a quiz or submitting a request) together with cookie identifiers, so we can measure our ads and show our ads to site visitors.
• Meta Conversions API: when you submit a request, our server sends Meta a record of that submission. Contact details are hashed (scrambled) before they are sent, and the record is used to measure and improve our ads.
• Customer lists: we may share contact details you enter on this site (including from forms you start but don't finish) in hashed (scrambled) form with advertising platforms such as Meta, to measure our ads and to show our ads to you. If you have opted out of ads/analytics, we don't share them.
• Other advertising partners: we may also use the tags and server connections of Nextdoor, Reddit, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and X to measure our ads and show our ads to site visitors, under the same rules as Meta above (contact details hashed, nothing shared if you opt out).
• Customers who book an appointment or buy from us may receive a link to appointment details or a short survey; opening it lets our advertising partners recognize your device.
• Google Analytics 4: Google Analytics records page views and site interactions using cookies so we can understand how the site is used. We don't send your name, email, phone number or address to Google Analytics, and Google signals is turned off.
• First-party cookies: cookies we set ourselves remember your privacy choice, and the site keeps a first-party record of how you arrived (for example an ad, a search, or a referral) with your submission, even if you opt out of ads/analytics. If you have opted out, we don't share it with Meta or Google.

Your choices: You can turn off ad and analytics cookies at any time with the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the bottom of every page (or "Manage choices" on the cookie notice). We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. When you opt out, we stop sending data to Meta and Google Analytics from your browser and we don't send your submission to Meta. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

Retention: Your opt-out choice is stored for 12 months. Visitor-source information is kept in a first-party cookie for 90 days. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Request information you submit is kept as long as needed to handle your project and our business records, and you can ask us to delete it using the contact details above.
